The program describes the service and the honor of a Bat Mitzvah and the "torah portion" is the part of the Torah that Macy has been preparing to read from in order to lead the congregation in Torah.

 

It's kismet that Macy loves animals as her Torah portion is the well-known story of Noah and the Arc! More to follow.... when Macy gives the sermon during the service!)
